After years of collecting, hoarding, accumulating broken chains and bracelets, little charms, beads and other knick-knacks, now that I have breathed new life into them, it is time to let them go.
I also make jewellery using sterling silver, gemstones and other beads, inspired by the concept of wabi-sabi.
The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".
For me wabi-sabi is to see beauty in things, which are simple, imperfect, modest, old and weathered. To celebrate cracks and crevices and all the other marks that time, weather, and loving use leave behind.
So, if you´re looking for perfection, you won´t find it here. My work may show marks, scratches, dents, blemishes and pits.
I really enjoy finding, altering, and designing them.
Your original dindi piece will be sent out to you with my signature tag where that is possible and if it doesn´t interfere with the design.
